Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff, The Regional Risk Matrix Report for the Northeast - Bergen, Essex, Hudson for the week ending December 4th, 2021, has changed from MODERATE to HIGH. From: Moderate or Low (yellow or green) exposed close contacts should be excluded from school for 10 days (or 7 days with negative test results collected at 5-7 days) To: High (orange) exposed close contacts should be excluded/quarantine from school for 14 days. When the Regional Risk Matrix is High (orange) exposed close contacts who are not fully vaccinated should be excluded/quarantine for 14 days. Unvaccinated who travel outside of NJ (excluding NY, PA, DE) will be required to quarantine for 14 days upon return to NJ. Individuals that test positive for COVID-19 will need to isolate for 14 days. Our goal is to keep schools open and safe for all our students therefore we will reduce large gathering, resume virtual conferences and performances until we return to moderate. Thanking you in advance for your cooperation. Ronald Bolandi Superintendent of Schools Englewood Public School District
