✨ DeAndre Wright and Ricardo Carouthers showcased their incredible talent at the inaugural NJ Mass Band event at Central HS in Newark, guided by EPSD teacher Gary Hollander, who was also one of the instructors during the 3-day event. With expert coaching from HBCU staff and alumni, alongside guest directors from Southern University, Howard University, and Norfolk State University, they excelled!
This collaboration has already led to exciting additional opportunities, including an invitation to perform at Howard University's Homecoming and the potential for a visit from their renowned band this September.
