Northern Blast Robotics Meet Comes to Englewood!
Englewood, NJ – [January 3, 2025] – The excitement of robotics competition will light up Englewood as the Dwight Morrow Academies @ Englewood High School proudly hosts the Northern Blast Robotics Meet on Saturday, January 4, 2025. This thrilling event brings together 24 talented teams from across the region to showcase their engineering ingenuity, programming skills, and teamwork.
The day begins with volunteers arriving at 8:00 AM, team registration at 8:30 AM, and the first matches kicking off at 10:45 AM. The competition will run until 4:15 PM, culminating in an action-packed closing ceremony. This community event, taking place in the North Building gymnasium at 274 Knickerbocker Road, Englewood, NJ, is open to the public. Families, friends, and supporters are encouraged to attend and cheer on the teams.
The Northern Blast Robotics Meet is a testament to the dedication and talent of our students, coaches, and volunteers. A special thanks to Team #4326 (C’est la Vie) and their supporters, as well as our volunteers and sponsors, including the PSEG Foundation, for making this event possible.
Spectators will witness cutting-edge robotics in action as teams compete in a series of intense matches designed to challenge their robots’ capabilities. In addition to the competition, teams will participate in practice interviews with judges, receive feedback, and showcase their innovative engineering portfolios.
Community members and esteemed members of the administration are warmly invited to attend, while members of the press are encouraged to cover this exciting day of innovation, collaboration, and friendly competition.
Food will be available for purchase, and all proceeds will support the host teams. Please note that outside food and beverages are not permitted.
