New Jersey School Board Delegate

The Board of Education of the City of Englewood establishes a schedule for its regular business meetings for the school year.

All meetings will be held in the Dr. John Grieco School, 50 Durie Avenue unless otherwise indicated. Meetings will convene at 6:30 PM and, when necessary and permitted by law, immediately adjourn to closed session. If there is no need or permitted topic for closed session, the meeting will recess until 7:30 PM at which time the meeting will reconvene in open session for the conduct of business. Action will be taken during open session

Everyone has a voice and we are interested in hearing each and every voice. Every individual can speak for 3 minutes and at the end of the privilege of the floor we will do our best to respond to your comments. Please understand that there are some comments that we are legally unable to answer. If you have a specific concern the best means of addressing this would be always to go to the teacher, followed by the Principal, Superintendent and finally all appeals can go to the Board of Education by letter. This process is outlined in our policies online.

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq The Open Public Meetings Act

The Board of Education of the City of Englewood has established the following schedule for its regular business meetings between January 30, 2025, and January 6, 2026. Meetings will convene at 6:30 p.m. at Dr. John Grieco Elementary School, 50 Durie Avenue, and when necessary and permitted by law, immediately adjourn to closed session in room 311 and returning to open session at 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.  

Meeting schedule was approved at the 2025 BOE Reorganization Meeting on January 2, 2025.

The meeting schedule is subject to change. Please consult the calendar on the district home page for monthly Board of Education meetings and locations.

*The Annual Organization Meeting is set by statute.  This meeting will convene at 6:30 p.m.
